The Staff Civil Site Engineer will work on project teams to create world classsite designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments on a variety of projects including pipelines, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, municipal, commercial, and government facilities. The Staff Civil Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting site civil plans according to budget constraints, design factors, locality requirements, and/or client needs.Perform/assist in civil design and calculations for projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. Modify and review drawings for a variety of projects. Design civil components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers, while incorporating client, local, state, and federal regulations including, but not limited to: Site Demolition Erosion and Sediment Control Grading Drainage Stormwater Quality/QuantitySite Layout Sanitary Sewer Layout and Design Domestic and Firewater Layout and Design Utility ProfilesApply strong knowledge of commonly used site civil engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the site civil engineering services industry. Research and compileproject-related data as required by the project managers. Compile studies and reports. Write specifications. Compile information for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration. Perform field inspections,measurements and/or calculations. Perform other duties as assigned.Mentor younger staff. Comply with all company policies and standards.
