Staff Education Coordinator

Position Summary:

Acts as a coordinator for the Clinical Education Department, collaborating with educators and departments for educational modules and electronic assignments for the organization. Responsible for supporting and maintaining partnership agreements with colleges and universities, coordinating the onboarding of nursing students (AD, BSN,NP, etc). Collaborates with clinical educators to support classes, competencies, and department project work.  

Primary Position Responsibilities:

Compliance reporting and tracking in a timely and accurate manner

Coordinate all affiliating schools of nursing. Onboarding students, unit assignments, and ongoing support. Ensures that contracts/liability insurance from affiliating schools of nursing are current.

Responsible for supporting educational modules and assigning electronic education requirements across the organization.

Assists with the ANCC Provider program for continuing education as needed. Helps to maintain files and certificates.

Assists with annual competency validation packets and maintains records of completion. Provide final competency exams and records to HR

Completes special projects for Nursing Councils and Nursing Units and Clinical Educators.

Provides clerical support for the department and supports Nursing Policies on Policy Tech.

Responsible for supporting documentation for training of various systems, ie, UKG, Symplr Learning and other.

Qualifications::

Minimum Education:

Required:

Associates Degree or Equivalent healthcare related experience

Preferred:

Bachelors Degree       

 

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

1-2 years related experience

Preferred:

Healthcare experience, experience reviewing contracts

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required:

Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and critical thinking skills Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership, conveying key insights and updates of confidential data with clarity. Flexible with assignment of duties and display initiative Typing, basic computer knowledge, Google Workspace Excellent customer service both verbal and written. Pleasant telephone and personal manner, ability to handle confidential information and maintain a professional environment of an executive office.
