How will you make an impactYou will join a talented and well tenured team and play a vital role in the design and development of analytical instrumentation within the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry organization. Our products and instruments are used in the proteomics and metabolomics arena as well as having a real-world impact on human health in areas such as water safety and food safety technology.
What will you doWork with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists designing high precision analog and low frequency RF electronics for scientific instrumentsApply efforts to proof-of-concept experiments, product improvements, and new product developmentCollaborate with scientists, mechanical and electrical engineering teams in order to bring products to marketHow will you get hereEducation
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering; M.S. degree preferred
Experience7+ years of product development and commercialization design experience as an Hardware/Electrical engineer.Understanding of analog circuits involving opamps, FETs, BJTs etc.Experience applying laboratory test equipment including: signal generators, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers.Strong hands-on use and knowledge of design and testing tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, Allegro.Experience on a product development team from initial investigation, and design through to manufacturing introduction.Solid understanding of CE and product safety regulatory standards.Our Mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $129,400.00–$175,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
