Advance the development of next generation technology solutions for E/E architectures, related to the performance of electronic components and systems. Provide technical leadership for design implementations to ensure components meet the required reliability and performance integrity. Have strong focus on ensuring adequate EMC/EMI (Electro-Magnetic Compatibility/Interference) performance of electronic components and systems on equipment level, especially in the area of communication systems like LIN, CAN, and Ethernet Support product lines in the area of EMC homologation at the application level during validation lab testing, and during issue identification and resolution Perform circuit analysis and simulation of electronic circuits and systems in order to identify implementations which deliver robust solutions Explore and evaluate new communication technologies and support their maturity demonstration towards the deployment to Deere applications Develop tools and methodologies to support performance analysis and measurements of electronics and communication systems Be recognized as an expert across Deere, and may perform supervisory duties within the technical discipline.

What Skills You Need7+ years of product engineering experience for off-highway agricultural/construction equipment Professional experience developing electronic components for vehicle E/E architectures (electrical, software, systems, etc.) Proficiency in technical domains such as vehicle electrical systems, E/E architectures, and control systems Extensive experience in the area of EMC/EMI – related to standards, measurement principles, root cause analysis, and issue identification/resolution Fundamental knowledge of automotive communication systems such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet Deep expertise in electronics design and simulation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for details and the ability for clear communication and reporting out to different audiences
Problem-solving skills with technical proficiency and strategic thinking
Expert-level knowledge of automotive communication systems such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet Expert-level domain knowledge in the area of EMC/EMI Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or System Architecture (MIT SDM, CalTech, etc.) Contributions as committee member or (sub)group leader to industry standardization in the area of electronics (ISO, AEF, etc.) Recognized as a technical leader within an electronic community, inside or outside of Deere Creative mindset with eagerness to explore new domains and mature new technologies for Deere applications Education
