Job description：

As a Non-Volatile Memory Quality and Reliability Assurance (NVMQRA) Senior  Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will provide support for system qualification programs, failure analysis, and data analysis toward qualification of next-generation CXL products, which will involve the analysis of both internal and customer requirements, development of qualification plans, analysis of qualification data, performing electrical and mechanical analysis of failing devices and working with other engineering teams to identify root cause and/or new testing methodologies. You will perform risk assessments and provide support for manufacturing teams dealing with CXL  quality and reliability issues. You will also be asked to gain new product knowledge, as well as develop and mentor talent.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Manage New Product Qualification Define qualification planFacilitate and manage qualificationComprehend failures and failure rate within the scope of the qualificationAnalyze Reliability data for product validation within specific internal and customer requirementsPerform risk assessment at all decision points within qualification cyclePerform Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and coordinate root cause and corrective action with other internal engineering groupsProvide technical expertise to internal/external customer Collaborate with customer to develop custom test methods based on application usage modelCommunicate directly with customer as neededReview Customer qualification specificationsProvide risk assessment to customerAssess customer feedback and communicate them internallyDevelop Product Quality and Reliability Testing MethodologyCoordinate with research and development teamsComprehend new processes/technologies for product quality and reliability issues involving CXL productsComprehend new HW/FW technologies for product quality and reliability issues involving CXL productsInject CXL quality and reliability requirements into silicon component qualifications and developmentDevelop product reliability tests methods to assess new failure mechanismsDefine test methodology and flows for product qualificationSupport Deviant Material Disposition Assess deviation for product quality and reliability risk based on component deviationDefine evaluation(s) necessary to mitigate riskFacilitate and manage evaluationsDisposition deviant material at appropriate levelProvide Expertise and Consultation Support Global Qual MeetingsOn-board new team membersTrain, mentor, and develop new talentInterface with engineering groups on quality issues

Requirement：

Electronic engineering, Microelectronics or related field background with BS degree or above.Good  hands-on Hardware debugging experience  Fluent English in both verbal and writtenDeep knowledge of semiconductor memory and data storage productsStrong experience in product development as well as customer issue managementA solid understanding of industry-standard reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics.Strong experience in SSD/Modules qualification and technical standards such as PCIe/NVMe/CXL will be preferred
