**Summary**
Candidate will be one of the key leaders in Celestica's JDM / HS projects or customer account with high complexity, to represent the software team communicating and collaborating with customers, vendors, manufacturing sites, business units, PLM, as well as inner engineering teams in Global Design Center (GDS).
**Detailed Description**
+ Work with various software functional teams on the software feasibility and acquire software requirement;
+ Drive the establishment of software development schedule & release plan;
+ Constantly monitor and control the software progress from project kick-off to its closure;
+ Constantly communicate software status to internal key stakeholders, and to external customer/parties;
+ Work with engineering teams inside or outside of software organization to drive issue triage and solution;
+ Manage software scope changes and risks; Be responsible for software releases on time & on quality;
+ Continuously work with software development & QA team to enhance the software delivery quality and software processes;
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
+ Bachelor or Master degree of computer science and technology, communication engineering, electronics, automation, etc.
+ 10+ years working experience, at least 4 years proven working experience in OEM/ODM/JDM vendors, as software program manager or software development leader/manager.
+ Software/Firmware (BIOS/BMC/SES/BSP/Linux/…) development or testing experience on server, storage, network switch or other computing, networking, telecom products/projects is a plus;
+ Proficiency level written & verbal English & Mandarin skills;
+ Proficient documentation, presentation, expression skills.
+ Knowledge of project management, program management, Agile management, defect management, risk management, quality management, requirement management;
+ Self-motivated & object-oriented; aggressive, positive & proactive attitude; strong ownership & leadership; a team-worker with team-building capability.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and manage multiple projects.
+ Certification of PMI/PMP, PMI/ACP, PMI/PBA, PMI/PgMP, PRINCE2 or CSM is a plus;
**Physical Demands**
+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Occasional travel may be required.
