Systems design Engineer, technical leader

Our group

We develop and maintain the Scanning Electron Microscope systems. Our solution is important for our customer from semiconductor industry to identify errors in the production of semiconductor components and advance their research and production, to make them more robust, reliable, energy efficient.

We are seeking an experienced Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Brno. As an Engineer III, you will have the chance to lead the development of our top-quality products and make valuable contributions to innovative advancements. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on advanced technology that greatly influences various industries.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership for the development project, ensuring flawless execution and successful implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and problem-solving, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of hardware.Take technical responsibility for the product in the development phase, ensuring its robustness and reliability.Identify and mitigate risks during execution to ensure smooth project progress.Lead technical review processes and set clear expectations for module and systems development and quality assurance.Support project teams in specification, integration, and testing activities, ensuring alignment with the target system's specifications.Effectively negotiate systems requirements with multiple teams, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and field service.

Requirements:

University Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience required.Proven experience in technical leadership of R&D projects within a multi-disciplinary organization.Advanced technical knowledge and strong conceptual thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Strong focus on quality and robustness.Highly motivated and eager to continuously learn and broaden your knowledge base.Willingness to travel and fluency in English.
