This position is for SCIEX team located at Danaher India Development Centre (IDC), Bangalore  IDC is a research and development centre with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Started in 2014, the centre now hosts 500+ associates, for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics, Life Science, and Environmental and Applied Science segments. The operating companies includes Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, Danaher Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, HemoCue, Videojet, SCIEX and Cepheid.  

The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products for, Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists. 

The inhouse teams works in close coordination with other global R&D centers at US, Canada, Europe, Japan, China, and Singapore. Located at the centre of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility, measuring 120 K.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:  

Lead the design and development of secure and robust software architectures for assigned products and subsystems, ensuring their integrity, stability, and scalability.Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and all Agile ceremonies.Engage with appropriate cross-functional stakeholders, technical leaders, and executives across time zones to communicate project status, bring up issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making.Organize the team and implement development processes to continuously deliver on time with high efficiency.We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and can effectively manage their time to work across time zones with our North American R&D team while maintaining the highest standards in collaboration and communication.Readily accepts responsibility and accountability for project success and key decisions.Architect, implement, and validate solutions through the creation of well-designed, well-tested code modules/components.Develop software requirements from product requirements, by thoroughly understanding both explicit and implicit of the system under development.Investigate software and system problems using a variety of techniques and provide innovative solutions.

 The essential requirements of the job include:   

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 13+ years of experience in design & developing software productsPrior hands-on development experience including leading architecture for enterprise system designing, and writing code with back-end stacks c#.NETExtensive experience in software design using software design principles, design patterns and modeling, architectural patterns, and domain analysis.Experience with Visual Studio, C#, .NET Framework 4.5, WCF, WPF, Unit Testing Frameworks (NUnit, MSTest) and Static code Analysis toolsExperience in developing web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, Razor components, etc..Good understanding and hands-on experience in Database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQLExperience with UML modeling and diagramming tools like Enterprise Architect, MS VisioExperience in identifying and solving performance bottlenecks and memory leaks using one or more profiling tools such as dotTrace, NProfilerExperience in one or more build tools such as Jenkins, TeamCityExcellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent time-management skills to effectively work across time zones, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

Experience in any one cloud platform (Azure or AWS)Experience on Messaging systems using MSMQ, SOA using REST, SOAP RPC, HTTP, TCP IP, UDP, gRPC ProtocolsFamiliarity in use of distributed caching solutions and products
