About the role
Enphase is looking for mid-level engineer with CPU Tool chain experience for ARM Cortex M4 & RISC V based ASICs to join our team in Fremont, CA, USA. The team is working on the development of our next generation Control ASIC to production in 22nm technology. The ASIC will be a Mixed Signal SOC built around ARM microcontrollers and RISC V.
What you will do
Work on installing and maintenance of CPU tool chain (both ARM Cortex M4 & RISC V)Work along with Unix System Administrator on the tool management related to ASIC designExplore, Benchmark/Deploy opensource/3rd paty/EDA tools to enable SW/FW development frameworkWork together with processor architect and designersBe the single point contact for all the tools/debuggers/prototype software/tool set for ASIC design/verification/FW developersWho you are and what you bring
Minimum BS+8 years or MS+6 years’ experience in a similar job functionProficient in C, Verilog, and Python. Working on the HW/SW interfaceExperience with processor toolchains (compiler, assembler, simulator)Experience with “Verilator” tool is a plusCustomer (SW engineering community) focusedHands-on experience with RISC V tool chain installation, maintenance is an added advantageAble to provide fast turn-around time from requirement to prototype implementationExperience with FPGAsThe base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $170,000. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
