**What you'll do...**
• As a Technical Team Lead for Embedded SW Development within the Connective Vehicle Software organization, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of Vehicle Controls software. You will lead the technical solutions for the team to develop a software architecture implementation to meet all the real-time needs of the embedded system. This role requires a hands-on approach to guide the team in building a basic software stack and application software architecture.
• You are a hands-on technical leader with strong experience in C, AUTOSAR Basic Software as well as experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery. You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality embedded software using Agile methodologies. Your expertise includes working with AUTOSAR tools to develop multicore real-time applications. You are also experienced in communication networks like CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
o Develop architecture migration support for AUTOSAR Basic Software and Application Software in legacy and new software components
o Lead ECU optimization through analyzing software component resource usage for core load balancing and interface coherency
o Lead AUTOSAR BSW delivery meeting Functional Safety requirements (MPU), run time limits, and system resource (Ram/Rom) limits for TC39xx ECU
o Support architecture analysis for new interfaces via communication networks, other I/O communication to the BSW as well as inter module system interfaces
o Lead the Basic Software issue resolution and troubleshooting using priority triage process to focus on high priority issue resolution
o Directly engage in writing code and participate in code and test case reviews
o Conduct software verification, including unit and integration testing, as needed
o Take full ownership of projects, making key design and implementation decisions independently while mentoring junior team members
o Be a proactive and energetic leader in a dynamic team environment
**You'll have...**
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree; or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
• 10+ years of relevant software development experience in embedded systems.
• 3+ Experience with CI/CD technologies
• 3+ years of experience in configuring Classic AUTOSAR BSW components and debugging/troubleshooting embedded software on target hardware
• 5+ years of RTOS/OSEK Operating systems experience
**Even better, you may have...**
• Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant software development experience in defining and delivering software architecture in an embedded multi-core ECU
• 5+ years experience in development of software components (SW-C) in an AUTOSAR Classic environment
• Experience working in an Agile development team environment
• Experience with Model Based Development/Code Generation using the MathWorks products
• Experience in configuring Vector AUTOSAR Classic BSW including NVM, E2E, Watchdog
• Ethernet security functions including MacSec
