The Avionics Test Engineering organization is looking for a motivated individual to support the Melbourne Avionics Boundary Scan and Structural Test Engineering team. We’re a global engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing test solutions in support of the $5B Avionics strategic business unit, as well as external customers including armed services and airlines both domestic and international.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support In-Circuit Test solutions for Avionics products. Test Engineering offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs.
What Will You Do:
+ Expert on Call (EOC) In-Circuit Test (ICT) factory support, including generating new ICT programs, updating existing ICT programs, ICT program conversions, debugging, analysis, and electronics troubleshooting.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Experience in ICT test equipment and test solutions in a manufacturing environment.
+ Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
+ U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience with Takaya ICT programming and test equipment
+ Experience with HP/SEICA/Marconi ICT programming and test equipment
+ Experience with Valor Process Prep software
+ Experience with electronics troubleshooting
+ Experience with test equipment and test solutions
+ Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Solid communication skills
+ Ability to take initiative
+ Ability to excel in a team environment and interact with various teams

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
