Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced developer to join our Model Based Enterprise (MBE) team, to help develop new capabilities that will transform how GE Aerospace designs, manufactures, and validates our next generation aircraft engines. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, test, implementation, and support of CAD/PLM based applications, that enable a Model Based Enterprise, with a focus on Design and Quality solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirementsEvaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configurationCode complex/integrated customizations and/or solutionsProvide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionalityTriage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actionsPartner with stakeholders to assess their business needs and recommend IT solutionsDevelop new application enhancementsWrite technical specificationsDocument system changesProvide on-call supportReview technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standardsTrain/Mentor less experienced resources

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experienceMinimum 3 years of professional experience in MBE DevelopmentNote: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Characteristics
