Responsibilities + Lead and participate in field assignments, focusing on geotechnical construction observation. + Conduct construction observation and special inspections. + Communicate efficiently with contractors, clients, and team members. + Work weekends and overtime as needed. + Travel overnight and interstate when necessary. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering. + EIT or GIT certification. + Proficiency in soils classification and construction observation documentation. + Reliable transportation to project sites and a valid Driver’s License with a clean record. + Ability to pass drug testing. + Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Teams, etc. Additional Skills & Qualifications + PE certification is a plus. + Experience with AutoCAD.
