Staff Geologist/Engineer
Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Environmental PE/PG to join one of the leading total quality assurance providers in the Waukesha, WI area. The Environmental PE/PG will be responsible for supporting the Environmental department in all services including Phase I/II ESAs, asbestos surveys, lead-based paint survey, site remediation, soil/groundwater sampling and more. This person will complete fieldwork as well as work on technical reports and proposals. Additional responsibilities include: Manage/Perform Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I, II and III ESAs) Manage/Perform soil and groundwater assessments Participate in environmental remediation projects Prepare proposals and technical reports Scheduling/coordinating work activities Direct and execute Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, and field exploration Provide project level development of proposals and reports and ensure that client commitments are met Work under close supervision of an experienced professional to perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria Perform limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced professional We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's in Engineering or Geology 5yrs+ of professional experience Experience performing Phase I and Phase II ESA's, soil/groundwater remediation, and soil characterization Experience with technical report writing Comfortable handling up to 10 projects at a time (dependent on size) Comfortable with occasional field work Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Comfortable taking a drug and background test Plus Qualifications: PE or PG license OR in the process of pursuing licensure Geotechnical experience Industrial Hygiene experience Wetlands experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
