*_SUMMARY_* Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a*Staff Nurse RN*(0.8 FTE: 4 days/week, 8 hour shifts) for our Clinic in downtown Minneapolis to work day shift. This role will have a start time of 7:30am daily and will provide broad clinical support for this smaller clinic. /**This position is currently Monday-Friday day hours but may expand to include evenings and weekends as we grow./ A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible).** *RESPONSIBILITIES* Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by: * Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health * Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care * Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response * Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others * Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care * Educating patient on their disease process * Assuring continuity of care * Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being *QUALIFICATIONS:* Minimum Qualifications: * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota Preferred Qualifications: * Certification in area of clinical specialty * BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
