+ DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION + The Staff Nurse-Satellite Practice is a licensed staff nurse responsible for providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. + POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) + Experience: + Minimum of one year of expereince in Primary Care is strongly preferred. + Education and Training: + Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. + Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures. + License, Certification & Registration: + RN License – Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts + Other Requirements: + Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with state regulations. + Assures compliance with scope of practice.
