General Summary
Interprets and evaluates physician orders in order to prepare and dispense appropriate medications to patients at Holy Cross Hospital. Manages drug therapy of patients. Reviews, accesses and maintains patient medication records and profiles for allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplication to provide a consistent quality of patient care and appropriate drug therapy.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Maryland Pharmacist Licensure
BLS Certification
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
*** Must have completed a PGY1 Residency***
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.Current licensure from the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy. (If out of state, eligible for licensure in Maryland; licensure requirements completely satisfied within three (3) months after employment.)Able to communicate effectively, speak, write and comprehend English.Able to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff in order to meet departmental objectives. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.Preferred: Knowledge of software: Word, Excel, Power Point; ASHP accredited residency, membership in ASHP and WMSHP.Pay Range: $54.94-$82.40
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
