Staff / Portfolio Accountant Purpose: The Staff / Portfolio Accountant is expected to meaningfully contribute to and perpetuate our purpose and values. Thrive’s accounting department provides services to corporate and property operations, ownership entities, and redevelopment. Job Responsibilities: + Month End review and processing + Monthly financial statement preparation + Maintenance of standard journal entries + Monthly bank reconciliations + Maintain reconciled balance sheets & balance sheet schedules + Yardi corrections and site support/training as needed + Monthly security deposit calculations and transfers + Assists in annual audit process + Support with new property set ups + Support with additional projects as needed + W9 audits + Contributes to company culture through collaboration and support Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related preferred + Experience working with Yardi and/or MRI preferred + Experience working with affordable housing preferred * Please submit your resume and cover letter. * If you do not fully meet the qualifications listed above but feel you have the skills and experience to be able to be successful in this position we welcome your application!
