We’re hiring a Staff Program Manager who will be responsible for managing our Rider Partnership portfolio, partnering across our strategic business development and product teams to deliver compelling partnership products for our customers. You will work with these teams to shepherd and manage the delivery of partnership projects to completion. You’re savvy at connecting the dots, being a trusted partner to cross-functional peers at Lyft. Reporting into the VP of Partnerships & Loyalty, you’ll be a leader within the Partnerships organization and will contribute to some of our team’s highest impact initiatives.
Responsibilities: Understand the Lyft Partner ecosystem and products inside out, and work with the teams to help set goals and trajectory Anticipate and proactively design programs to address underlying team needs, shaping, driving and documenting processes and tools for effective team workflows and collaboration Provide the Rider leadership team with up to date visibility into current projects, team utilization, project health and priorities Manage deliverables in an accurate and timely fashion while effectively escalating risks and proposing plans to mitigate Serve as trusted partner to Partnerships leadership across the organization Collaborate, communicate, and negotiate with product managers, engineers, designers, and business development team members at all levels across the organization Lead biannual planning and prioritization with cross functional teams, balancing multiple inputs and needs Participate in and facilitate project reviews, prep, and post-mortems Experience: 7+ years of experience in a combination of strategy and operations roles, with a strong foundation in Program Management or Business Development preferred Strong project management and leadership skills. Adept at cross-functional collaboration, building consensus, and creating a shared project plan across multiple teams. Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high-level direction. Able to influence, negotiate and inspire others in a matrixed environment. Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail Propensity to ask insightful questions, conduct thorough research, and understand both high-level strategy and ground-level tactical needs. Ability to dive deeply into a problem and quickly assess risks and dependencies Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and driven to make an impact on the business. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $128,000-$160,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
