Staff Project Manager, Device Certification

The foundation of a connected world, it’s a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** The device certification team is responsible for managing and performing device certifications on Dish MNO and Dish MVNO partner networks for all Dish brands for Android and Apple devices. This includes managing OEM engagement & OEM deliverables including issue management. The team also supports organizations with project-based testing activities centered around device, value-added services and carrier apps. The successful Device Certification Project Manager will plan, manage and deliver Device Engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring new solutions and products have solid project plans along with ensuring tasks and milestones are met. We are looking for a high-energy go-getter who possesses strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in project management to excel in our fast-paced environment of device lifecycle management. **Key Responsibilities:** + Plan, manage and deliver device and solution engineering projects + Collaborate with the internal device and network teams and with device partners to manage product certification projects, timelines, and certification requests and work orders + Facilitate weekly priority, IoDT, device chipset, and team sync meetings; ensuring tasks, actions, and follow-ups are all completed; ensure project reporting dashboards are updated weekly + Assist/backup resource for SIM and device inventory (including flashing) management as needed **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s in computer science, electrical engineering or related field of study, or related work experience + 4+ years’ experience working in wireless industry + 3+ years’ experience in wireless device certification tools and capabilities + 3+ years’ experience as Project Manager or PMP Certification **Skills and Qualifications:** + Experience with testing mobile devices preferred + Experience in project management + Prior experience with 5G network product certification **Salary Ranges** Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year **Benefits** We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities and a flexible time away plan. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
