**Description** Who We Are Neya is a leader in advanced robotics developing off-road autonomy for both commercial and defense customers. Our deep domain expertise spans semi-autonomy, autonomy, perception, and mission planning; all of which support a wide range of DoD and commercial thrust areas. Our headquarters is in the Pittsburgh area, and we have teams located throughout the U.S. We are looking for a mid-level Technical Project Manager to manage and ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery of engineering solutions. You must be a well-organized and dedicated team player, committed to building effective relationships with teams and customers. This successful individual will work closely with multiple stakeholders to determine goals and objectives, identify program needs, manage program staffing and budget. The candidate will manage a technical team consisting of both on-site and remote members. What You’ll Do + Collaborate across our software, systems, autonomy, hardware, operations, and testing teams to achieve program-level goals and milestones + Understand and execute project Statements of Work + Remove obstacles to milestone and delivery completion + Facilitate strong communication of success, obstacles, and insights gained across the project team as well as to the Project Management Office (PMO) and upper management + Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using common scheduling tools, such as MS Project + Facilitates level of effort estimation in collaboration with technical leadership, and tracks personnel hours against project budget + Work with other PMs and technical personnel to manage resource conflicts and parallel priorities + Identify, track, and proactively mitigate project risks + Manage project financials to include tracking, forecasting, and reporting of project financial status, using existing tools for creating new ones as needs arise + Management of direct project expenses and profit to align to corporate financial tracking requirements. + Manage relationships with project subcontractors, including working with the company’s contracting office to initiate subcontracts, contribute to and manage subcontractor Statements of Work, and manage vendor’s tasking and budgeting once under subcontract + Manage the full lifecycle of robotics programs and manage the execution of tasks within functional areas, working with technical leadership to facilitate task completion + Lead and manage cross-disciplinary projects, facilitating communication and effective collaboration + Facilitates project planning, reviews, and meetings, scope/requirement discussions with technical teams and customers, using relevant project management tools + Provide periodic project status updates to management Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks. Working from the office is encouraged for tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. What You’ll Need + This position requires use of information that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Non-U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-restricted information. The ITAR/EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee + A Bachelor's Degree in technical field, such as Computer Science, Robotics, or physical sciences; and equivalent project management experience in a technical field + At least 5 years of experience with project management, controlling budgets, and resource and task management + Knowledge of general autonomous system software and hardware, including perception, simulation methods and hardware is preferred + Experience with software development lifecycles, delivery, and integration cycle + Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, software configuration tools, and management systems + Strong communication and presentation skills, to customer, project team, and upper management + Experience managing projects with scope beyond $1M + Strong ability to engage and manage tasking of cross-functional teams of varying skills and experience + Good written and oral communication skills + Ability to identify, remove, and/or mitigate obstacles, develop, and communicate priorities, work within deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously How to Stand Out + PMP certification will receive additional consideration + Demonstrate ability to work with team members of all skill and experience levels, and adapt to their unique needs and work styles + Some experience writing production-quality object-oriented code in C++, using a git-based workflow in a Linux environment is preferred but not required + Previous experience in agile methodology is preferred but not required Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $140,000 per year, based on factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training and certifications, and expertise.
