The Reliability Engineer is responsible for defining the optimal asset reliability strategies for technical assets in accordance with their criticality for the business and driving qualitative and sustainable asset performance (Right First Time, Cost, and Schedule Attainment) by enhancing the technical availability of critical assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical support to the maintenance, operations and project departments on equipment reliability mattersSupport and contribute to the overall site goal of enhancing asset performanceDevelop a long-term vision and plan for manufacturing equipment reliability performance improvementDrive an integrated risk management approach for EHSS, Quality and technical reliability in an efficient way according to site procedures and current GMP standardsDevelop standards across the equipment lifecycle using RCM (Reliability centered maintenance) methodology, apply OAC (operator asset care) where applicableSupervise and analyze the reliability performance, and drive root cause elimination improvementsCoordinate across engineering, maintenance and operationsDrive technological innovation within MAM (industry 4.0, use operating hours to upgrade maintenance plans, apply smart sensors, etc.)High degree of internal collaboration (manufacturing, quality, engineering, internal CoE’s, etc.) to remove barriers, clarify roles and responsibilities, coordinate and implement project plansExtensive interaction with external partners (knowledge centers, specialized contractors, external experts) and collaboration with universities and industry consortia to drive innovationJohnson Johnson is hiring for a Staff Reliability Engineer This onsite position is located in Athens, Georgia.

Minimum Bachelor's / University or equivalent degree is required; a degree from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology) accredited university is strongly preferredCertifications preferred in: PMP/FPX (or equivalent project management certification), Manufacturing Asset Management Certification (MAMC), and/or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP)Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experienceReliability and/or Maintenance experience within a process or pharmaceutical cGMP regulated environmentExperience with best practices in preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, RBA/Weibull, or FMECAExperience in failure analysisExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively as part of a teamPreferred:
Experience with Data mining/curation and Trend AnalyticsProficiency with one or more of the following systems: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, and/or UtilitiesOther:
