Key Responsibilities:The Flight Operations Aircrew Certification ODA (Organization Designation Authorization) program is responsible for ensuring United’s designated pilot Evaluators are following all applicable rules when conducting duties as an AC ODA Unit Member. The Staff Representative Flight Ops ODA role provides support to the Flight Operations Aircrew Certification ODA (Organization Designation Authorization) program. The AC ODA team interfaces with all aspects of pilot training, including Safety and Regulatory, Advanced Qualifications Program, Crew Scheduling, Pilot Records, and Training Scheduling.
Schedule Note: This is a hybrid position located in Denver at the United Flight Training Center. The hybrid schedule includes a mix of work in office weekly as well as scheduled opportunities to work from home.
Achieve and maintain highest level of understanding of applicable regulatory requirements and company rulesAnalyze scheduled and completed events to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsAudit scheduling of AC ODA Unit Members by Training Scheduling and Crew Scheduling for pilot evaluations and observations as well as required initial and recurrent trainingAuthorize final observation to be scheduled after validating that all required training is satisfactory and follows published guidelines for documentation of completionCreate, manage, and publish mandatory feedback and survey results of ODA Unit Members to comply with mandatory ODA Holder Interference annual surveysRecognize required changes within programming to ensure continuous regulatory compliance, communicate requirements to DT for programming changes, build test cases and test new functionality of the systems used to track or schedule Unit MembersData analysis to ensure appropriate utilization levels of Unit Member resources, percentage of pass/fail rates at individual and aggregate levels for rater reliability consistency, and other ad hoc data requirementsResponsible for editing and maintaining the AC ODA Procedures manual based on regulatory or company procedures revisionsEnsure that published revisions are shared among appropriate stakeholdersFind your future at United We’re reinventing what our industry looks like, and what an airline can be – from the planes we fly to the people who fly them.
