Description

The Department of Surgery is seeking to hire a part time Staff Research Associate Level I (SRA I) in a cutting-edge plastic surgery research lab under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator. 

Duties of this role include:

Experimental Procedures and Bench Work  Assisting with preparation for and completion of experiments  Helping with data acquisition and experimental flow  Cell culture maintenance, standard molecular biology techniques both classical and modern  Animal Research: Help maintaining mouse colonies  Assist with genotyping, breeding, organ harvesting  Help maintain animal compliance paperwork and protocols  Lab Administrative Duties: Assist in ordering of supplies and inventory management  Help preparing lab buffer, chemical and reagent stocks for general lab use  Data Management and Manuscript Preparation  Procedural and statistical analysis of experimental data  Creation of data figures for use in manuscripts and presentations Pay Range: $26.51
