Job Description

This position provides direct patient care and education for patients receiving research treatments, examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures in a medical office according to established procedures. You will work one-on-one with participants receiving trials. You must be able to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously and record all patient data accurately.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care.Provide patient care, including administering research and/or SOC medication, performing procedures, and monitoring patient status in accordance with approved nursing practice.Provide appropriate counsel and education to patients and their families regarding symptom management.Maintain medical records with accurate and timely recording of patient information.Consult with members of the healthcare team, adjusting nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Assist the healthcare provider with examinations, procedures, prescription refills, and other processes related to direct patient care.Maintain required skills and competencies and participate in educational programs, staff meetings, and in-services such as CPR as required.Essential SkillsPatient careBlood drawEKGMedication administrationIV therapyWork Environment

The schedule is from 7 PM to 7 AM, rotating through Monday-Thursday, you will work three 12s. You will not work on Fridays or weekends.
