We’re just built to be better. We are a great company. We are seeking a **Staff Scientist (EIR Scientist)** to join our Murfreesboro, TN team! Come join us! **Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Performance of site investigations to support industrial hygiene and environmental projects, including the collection of samples and environmental data; + Conduct and document field activities such as soil and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, interviews, and tank excavations and/or removals + Management and analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps; + Performance of Phase I/II environmental assessments of a broad range of industrial and commercial facilities; + Assisting clients with a variety of environmental, health, and safety needs, including environmental regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, industrial hygiene, and health and safety matters; + Preparation of technical reports. **Minimum requirements:** + BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field. + 3-5 years of related petroleum remediation experience including + Environmental Due Diligence Phase 1 & 2 field and report writing, well sampling, drilling, and tank removal. + Experience in TN regulations and reporting. + Microsoft PC applications; WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, TEAMS + Excellent written and oral communication skills; + Strong technical, analytical, and research skills; **Technical requirements:** + PE/PG in TN Preferred. FE or FG acceptable if Engineering/Geology Degree. Other Environmental Certifications a Plus. + Ability to work unsupervised at least 60%. Organizational and Time Management skills are critical. Technical report writing experience required. + Knowledge of state and/or federal regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, NPDES, ASTM) **Other miscellaneous qualities:** + Ability to travel Middle and Eastern TN at least 35% of the time.
