Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Staff/Senior Tax Accountant. Responsibilities: * Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts * Conduct tax research and stay current on tax laws and regulations * Assist in tax planning and advisory services for clients * Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients * Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax engagements * Maintain organized and detailed work papers and documentation * Provide support during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities * Mentor and train junior staff members as needed
