Staff Services Engineering Program Manager

NI is seeking a Services Engineering Program Manager to manage the post-sales services roadmap and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations. This role involves managing a portfolio of interconnected projects. 

Scope: Ensures that all projects within the program are coordinated and contribute to the overall strategic objectives. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to define project standards and methodologies. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, along with the ability to understand the broader context of our initiatives. 
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Managing multiple projects simultaneously.  Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of a project.  Being responsible for all phases of a project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the internal and external customers.  Writing up all project documentation.  Submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers.  Setting the standards and methodology to be used in a project.  Creating a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.  Taking responsibility for projects through their entire lifecycle.  Properly scoping a project.  Managing project budgets.  Managing project resources.  Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project.  Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects.  Administering the allocation of assignments and budgets on a project.  Regularly review and analyze the project scope.  Managing customer expectations.  Identifying project risks.  Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors.  Driving cross-functional project teams.  Considering a customer’s interests.  Ensuring that the highest quality standards are met.    Who You Are: Works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.     For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree.  2+ years relevant experience.  Fundamental knowledge of Project Management principles, documents, and plans.  Strong facilitation and analytical skills.  Ability to set clear expectations with team members, other managers, and cross functional partners.  Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards.  Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioral, and contextual elements of a project.  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Understands contract management practices for outside services and third party vendors.  PMP certificate will be a plus.  Running large scale projects.  Project reporting.  Stakeholder management.  Willingness to learn, grow and run an extra mile Strong drive and resilience.  Action and result oriented.  Ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels.  A willingness to see things through to the end.  A team player who is comfortable working with other professionals.  Ability to influence people at all levels.  Ability to work efficiently during changes and uncerteinities and to meet tight deadlines.  Outbox thinking.  Being an inspirational leader who can demonstrate enthusiasm and passion.
