Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead teams technically to deliver against multi-generational product development plans enabled by a strong understanding of system architecture, Software architecture, Software platforms and the underlying technologies. Ensure software delivered is compliant to Industry/GE Quality, regulatory and security standards.Ensure alignment of multiple product/technology roadmaps, architecture and lead teams to deliver to those.Drive alignment of architecture and designs with specifications of the product(s) by leveraging best practices and deploying efficient technologies.Champion innovation initiatives and lead teams to create value thereof.Mentor and coach architects, technical leads and developers in developing/improving their technical competencies.Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and drive corrective action as required.Champion continuous improvement activities about software quality and competence developmentDrive system thinking across the organization.Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectBe an expert in assessing application / system performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practicesEducation Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 10 + years of relevant experience in software projects.Technical Expertise:
Demonstrated proficiency in Full stack Software development (Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS).Experience with design and implementation of micro services / containersGood understanding of data structures.Good to have design experience with Micro frontend-based architectureExperience in usage of testing methodologies like TDD/BDD and usage of tools like Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, Cucumber, Junit, Mockito, Cypress, Selenium etc.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) concepts and Unified Modeling Language (UML)Working experience in scaled Agile environment and understanding of CI/CDFamiliarity with industry software development practices, tools and environments including practical usage of Configuration Management systems, Defect Tracking tools and Debuggers.Industry-recognized certifications (e.g. TOGAF).Leadership:
