**Position Summary:**
Join Fortune 6 CVS Health as a **Staff Software Development Engineer for DevSecOps and Test Automation** to lead our organization's efforts
to develop and drive the strategic vision in establishing and adopting the best DevSecOps practices for Aetna Technology division. You will
play a critical role in shaping the direction of DevSecOps practices within the company, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to
drive transformative outcomes, best practices and leading the DevSecOps center of excellence. As needed, you will successfully manage
both full-time employees and contracted resources to help execute IT project work within the organization at CVS Health. You will ensure that
project initiatives and guidelines meet both internal and client requirements and are delivered on-time and on budget. In this role, you will lead
a cross functional development team in the various phases of the SDLC for several projects that will range in size and complexity. You will
also be responsible for engaging with various software vendors that support a series of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that are
critical for the day to day activities of Software Engineering teams.
Ideally looking for someone to work in hybrid model from the Blue Bell, PA office.
**In this position you will:**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and infrastructure teams to align DevSecOps goals withbusiness objectives.
+ Drive IT systems maturity for end to end build, test and deployment automation across multiple development, testing, andproduction environments.
+ Lead the Enablement, Adoption and DevSecOps Center of Excellence (COE) efforts and serve as a technical authority inDevSecOps and Test Automation.
+ Lead the efforts to establish and maintain DevSecOps best practices staying current with developments in the Industry.
+ Integrate AI assisted tools within CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
+ Work closely with infrastructure teams to plan and implement CI/CD tools and framework upgrades to technical currency.
+ Work with champions across Aetna IT Technology portfolio to drive maturity for end to end automation of development andtesting practices.
+ Develop and promote automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines for code quality and security thereby preventing vulnerabilities to be introduced into higher environments.
+ Promote of a “Shift-Left” Testing Strategy for E2E Testing, Security and Performance Testing.
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and best practices.
+ Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship with the Aetna Tech application teams.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and best practices.
+ Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship with the Aetna Tech application teams.
+ 7+ years of experience with designing and rolling out CI/CD pipelines across a diverse technology stack for both on-premise and cloud distributed applications.
+ 7+ years of experience building and rolling out Test Automation frameworks that can be utilized by application teams forincreasing the maturity of the applications.
+ 7+ years of experience in establishing DevSecOps maturity levels, automation metrics and well versed with the modern DevSecOps practices including SRE, Dora Metrics and Software Quality Engineering.
+ 5+ years of experience with the following CI/CD pipeline components: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy,Team City, Checkmarx, Nexus IQ, Twistlock and Sonarqube.
+ 5+ years of experience with the following work item management and test automation components: IBM Rational QualityManager (RQM), IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT), Rally, IBM ELM, Selenium, Cucumber, and SpecFlow.
+ 3+ years of knowledge of using Microservices (Java or Python), Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) andprivate and/or public cloud such as Azure or GCP.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in implementing and improving SRE metrics in complex and distributed environments.
+ Experience with SaFe and Agile methodologies.
+ Strong knowledge of programming languages/tools including: Java, Object-Oriented Languages, Python, Spark, SQL, R, Hive,JavaScript and Shell Scripts.
+ Experiencing working with application teams at scale for driving adoption of DevSecOps and Test Automation methodologiesacross the enterprise.
+ Knowledge of IT Security and compliance, operations and network services, and application development.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with onshore/offshore teams.
**Education:**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) in Computer Science or Information Technology
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
