As our Staff Software Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Collaborate actively with all members of the Agile team Contribute to developing new product features. Java development Unit & integration tests implementation Troubleshooting & bug fixes Technical documentation
Your Experience and Background include:
Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) Around 2 years of working experience in Java development Strong experience with Java development Knowledge of RESTful APIs Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment Nice to have: Experience with UI frameworks (Angular) Experience with automation (Jenkins, Robot Framework) Knowledge of deployment environments such as: Java application servers (WildFly) Containers, Kubernetes Awareness of DevOps best practices Awareness of secure programming (OWASP Top 10, vulnerabilities) Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
