Sr Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex systems architectures. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and functionality of system components. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and maintain comprehensive system documentation.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement complex systems architecture to meet technical requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Work with cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into the overall system architecture, considering both technical and operational aspects, and align delivery plans with overall project timelines and milestones.Support the installation and configuration of system hardware, operating systems, and software applications.Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration details, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, assisting with system-related issues.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.6+ years of experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.Proficiency in designing and implementing complex systems architecture.Solid understanding of hardware, operating systems, network protocols, software applications, and cloud technologies.Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Eligible to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree in engineering or a related field.Active TS/SCI security clearance.Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).Experience with tools like CAMEO.Experience in a customer-facing or consulting role.Experience with system architectures that include software containerization, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.Work Environment

You will be part of a team of 160 engineers, working in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. You will be one of the first engineers in Tampa, but will have substantial support. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative and cutting-edge technology, with new development projects and a strong relationship with the customer. There are significant opportunities for growth and a high level of comradery among the team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $100.00
