Responsibilities and TasksDaily monitoring and sanity checking of storage infrastructureHelp tune performance and ensure high availability of the storage nodesPerform day to day storage management activities and support engineering team requests and requirementsArchitect, Install and implement the new storage devices time to timeDesign and develop storage infrastructure monitoring tools help in forecasting the future problemsRespond to performance issues identified by alerting and other reporting incidentsEvaluate and implement new storage technologies time to time.Collaborate with Linux, LSF and other HPC team members in the teamQualifications and Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience managing enterprise grade NetApp and Isilon storage clusters.Strong knowledge on storage technologies, concepts and architecture.Knowledge of storage hardware architecturesExperience working in a distributed file systems environmentWork on performance analysis and troubleshootingExperience with data storage applications and cloud-based file systemsExperience on backup and data recovery strategiesWorks effectively with a minimal guidance and supportGood analytical skills and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-faced work environmentStrong Linux administration skills. Stays up-to-date on new technologies to ensure they offer the latest solutions to their clientsExperience working in a semiconductor company and HPC environment is a plus.

Education:

B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other technical disciplines or equivalent work experience.
