We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer for the ISMS-2 program. You will be the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the ISMS-2 Center subsystem. This position is based out of Elkridge, MD and will be 100% on-site.
This position is contingent upon successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance prior to start.
What You’ll get to Do:
As an integral part of our Engineering & Sciences team you will support the ISMS-2 program. The ISMS-2 program will build, test and deliver a surveillance, command and control, voice and data communications, ESM/ELINT and long-haul microwave communications system.
Oversight of COTS hardware selection to include PCs, servers, monitors and network equipment
Responsible for oversight of the software development effort.
Interfacing with product design teams for implementation of root cause resolutions
Working with technical leads to develop schedules, technical briefs and status
Own engineering staffing, program planning and execution
Lead system integration strategy and flow development
Manages the cable design and the integration of the Center hardware.
Manage Cost Account and support EVMS
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, master's degree with 10 years of experience or Ph.D. with 8 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Candidate must be a US Citizen
A current / active DoD Secret Clearance
Strong understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, including requirements analysis and verification planning and execution
Knowledge and experience with Agile principles, tools, and implementation
Experience with HP equipment
Experience with Agile tools (Bit Bucket, Jira, Confluence)
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or other related technical fields.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher.
Knowledge and experience in the development of ground, air, or sea-based radar, EW, and/or COMMS systems
Knowledge and experience in on-site test demonstrations planning and execution
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex HW/SW integration problems
Knowledge and experience integrating and testing software written in C, C++.
Knowledge and experience developing scripts/code in Python/C/C++ to automate manual processes
