Role Summary As a Staff Technical Recruiter at Rivian, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier engineering talent for our mechanical and electrical engineering teams. You'll leverage your deep understanding of engineering roles, particularly in vehicle and electrical hardware, to assess technical expertise and cultural alignment. Responsibilities Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies for mechanical and electrical engineering roles. Source, screen, and evaluate candidates specializing in vehicle systems, mechanical design, electrical hardware, and related engineering disciplines. Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through strategic sourcing, networking, and engagement with diverse candidate pools. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams. Conduct technical screenings to evaluate candidates' expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering principles. Partner with the People Team and hiring managers to ensure alignment with Rivian’s culture and values. Utilize data-driven insights to refine recruitment strategies and optimize hiring processes. Represent Rivian at industry events, career fairs, and networking opportunities to build the company’s employer brand. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Engineering). 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering roles. Proven ability to source and engage top-tier engineering talent through various channels. Strong understanding of engineering disciplines such as vehicle systems, mechanical design, and electrical hardware. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Passion for Rivian's mission and commitment to building diverse and inclusive teams. Pay Disclosure Salary Range Irvine-Based Applicants: $137,000-$173,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
