Key Responsibilities:Act as lead for the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Test Team, providing technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to team members, and take ownership for major projects.Develop and implement comprehensive PCBA test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of printed circuit board assemblies.Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) analysis and prioritization to improve testing coverage.Develop PCBA level functional test requirementsSupport the creation and optimization of functional test fixtures, automated testing scripts, and systems for data acquisition and measurement.Develop a comprehensive understanding of how PCBA interacts with its connected peripherals and subassemblies.Collaborate closely with the Electrical Engineering and Manufacturing teams to refine PCBA testing methods for implementation at Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and New Product Introductions (NPI). This includes deploying tests at CMs, training personnel, and providing ongoing support for any issues related to the tests.Expected Outcomes:3 months: Assess the existing PCBA test coverage and develop a strategic plan with prioritized actions to enhance testing coverage.6-12 months: Take full ownership of executing the PCBA test strategy and implementing test fixtures at Contract Manufacturers (CMs).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.A minimum of 8 years’ experience with a BS or a minimum of 6 years’ experience with higher education is preferred.Experience and Skills:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. California Bay Area The anticipated base pay range for this position is $114,000 to $197,800.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
