About Customer Solutions:
Digital Products Engineering (DPE) Commerce enables commerce between General Motors, GM Dealers, and consumers. From online vehicle shopping to service scheduling to buying parts, accessories and digital experiences, DPE Commerce focuses on every phase of commerce.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Salesforce technologies and clouds, with a strong ability to translate business objectives into compelling proofs of concept (POCs), mockups, prototypes and convert business requirements into technical user stories for developers. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams. If you are passionate about creating intuitive user experiences on the Salesforce platform and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, we want to hear from you. . This position requires an individual who is hands-on with Salesforce, detail-oriented, adept in Salesforce design patterns and approaches to implement business logic with Salesforce, able to adapt under stressful conditions, can multitask, possesses solid technical communication and customer service skills.
What You'll Do:
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
BS in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field5+ years of leadership experience, including working with vendors.Minimum of 8 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with significant time spent designing for the Salesforce platform.Must have deep knowledge of Salesforce technologies and clouds, including Lightning Design System.Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.Basic knowledge of Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) and ability to work closely with developers.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Strong analytical skills with a focus on user-centered design solutions.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project needs.What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.Experience: 10 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with significant time spent designing for the Salesforce platform, and other cloud technologies.Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified User Experience Designer, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified AdministratorAdditional Salesforce Certifications Such as:Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or IISalesforce Certified User Experience DesignerSalesforce Strategy DesignerSalesforce Certified Platform App BuilderSalesforce Certified AdministratorUser Research Expertise: Proficiency in conducting usability testing, A/B testing, and interpreting analytics.Additional Job DescriptionThis role is categorized as hybrid.
