staffing scheduling for all of Patient Care Services PCS assuring that all PCS units on all shifts are staffed adequately Processes and monitors all scheduling and timekeeping records electronically Processes and monitors all scheduling and timekeeping records electronically for PCS employees adhering to applicable hospital and department policiesEducation High school diploma or equivalentExperience A minimum of year Administrative Associate experience prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting preferredKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate information Basic computer skills including openingreading email basic internet useAbility to work collaboratively with all departments Ability to prioritize daily work and handle multiple priorities Proficient skills in Windows based software required in order to perform a multitude of job duties Knowledge of office practices and procedures including public contact techniques supervisory practices and record managementPROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKINGWork is performed in accordance with instructions and procedures but incumbents must organize the work and set priorities Requires the ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction Requires the ability to independently take the appropriate action in response to changes circumstances or problems Work requires considerable accuracy and responsibility Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Ability to prioritize plan and organize exercise discretion and independent judgment explain and apply polices communicate both verbally and in writing Maintains working
