Staffing Coordinator

BrightStar Care of W. Montgomery Co. (“BrightStar Care”) is seeking a Scheduler to assist with the employee staffing process, as well as ensure excellent in-home care service to our clients by coaching and mentoring caregivers, establishing and maintaining an environment of accountability, and proactively coordinating scheduling needs for personal care and facility staffing clients. The ideal candidate must have the ability to triage priorities and communicate effectively to clients and caregivers frequently. Responsibilities:

Helps recruit, interview, and orient reliable and compassionate caregivers. Coordinates rescheduling and promptly addresses shift vacancies to ensure effective scheduling and minimize unbilled overtime. Effectively manages customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client/caregiver relations. Ensures caregiver compliance with time and availability software. Assists with the intake of new clients and effectively communicates BrightStar differentiators. Manages all required documentation and ongoing note-keeping of employee & client activities. Deploys to attend to call outs and new client starts of care when needed. Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required. Performs additional duties and administrative functions as directed by management.

Requirements:

2+ years of Staffing, recruiting, and training experience within the home care or health care industry highly preferred. 3+ years CNA/HHA experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel, Outlook. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to provide superior customer service, problem-solve, and tactfully handle difficult situations. Critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously at times to produce an optimum solution. Positive “can do” attitude. Must be willing to occasionally accept evening and/or weekend on-call work. Must be willing to commit to minimum of 15 hours/week of back filling shift vacancies (BONUS pay offered) Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
