How you make a difference

The Staffing Coordinator oversees staffing compliance for a facility, ensuring full employee coverage for all direct and support care services. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments and serving as a liaison between Human Resources, Administration, and other teams. Maintaining confidentiality and building strong working relationships are also key responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator.



Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scheduling strategies and solutions, including process reviews, to address scheduling services throughout departments, in collaboration with internal and external parties.
• Manage scheduling requests, approve staffing ratios, and coordinate with human resources for onboarding, training, orientation, and scheduling of newly hired employees.
• Create, maintain, and organize employee scheduling data in HRIS systems, and retrieve and analyze scheduling data for education, research, and statistical reporting purposes.
• Prepare and submit staffing reports, maintain accurate records, files, and database(s), and assist Human Resources staff with various reports as needed.
• Participate in committees and meetings related to department activities and perform other assigned duties, which may include engagement in specialized programs, projects, and research impacting Human Resources and Administrative Department services and operations.



Qualifications & Requirements

Education

HSD or equivalent required.

Experience

Minimum of (2) two years’ experience in staffing and compliance and/ or coordinating of administrative duties and tasks.
