Join a caring team supporting Scripps Memorial Hospital - La Jolla as a Staffing Liaison in the Float Pool department. You'll be on the front line for creating a positive Scripps Health experience for our patients while being responsible for duties such as the following:

Responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate scheduling and staffing plans for the patient care areas.Partners with site leadership on scheduling plans and coordinates staffing needs and availability for the site(s) location.Collaborates with the Central Staffing Office and other hospitals of the Scripps system as needed to fill staffing needs.Coordinates schedules for site specific resources to enhance site unit coverage.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency of computer applications, excellent mathematical skills and ability to handle monies.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organizational and analytical skills; innovative with ability to identify and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 or moreyears of experience customer service or healthcare/medical office environment preferred.Prior patient scheduling experience.Able to adapt, prioritize and meet deadlines.Knowledge of medical terminology, commercial and government health insurance and billing guidelines, ACA requirements, understanding of DRG's, Medical ICD9/ICD10 codes and CPT/HCPC Codes and Modifiers.
