You'll be on the front line for creating a positive Scripps Health experience for our patients while being responsible for duties such as the following: * Responsible for maintaining adequate and appropriate scheduling and staffing plans for the patient care areas. * Partners with site leadership on scheduling plans and coordinates staffing needs and availability for the site(s) location. * Collaborates with the Central Staffing Office and other hospitals of the Scripps system as needed to fill staffing needs. * Coordinates schedules for site specific resources to enhance site unit coverage. *Required Qualifications:* * Must be able to demonstrate proficiency of computer applications, excellent mathematical skills and ability to handle monies. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Strong organizational and analytical skills; innovative with ability to identify and solve problems. *Preferred Qualifications:* * 1 or more years of experience customer service or healthcare/medical office environment preferred. * Prior patient scheduling experience. * Able to adapt, prioritize and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of medical terminology, commercial and government health insurance and billing guidelines, ACA requirements, understanding of DRG's, Medical ICD9/ICD10 codes and CPT/HCPC Codes and Modifiers. **Job:** **Admin Supp* **Organization:** **Scripps La Jolla Hospital* **Title:** *Staffing Liaison - Float Pool - La Jolla* **Location:** *Central San Diego County-LA JOLLA-SCRIPPS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL LA JOLLA* **Requisition ID:** *252001595*
