Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator - Nursing Support Services Full Time
Position will work three (3) 12-hour shifts, no weekends and no holidays
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the ANSOS system including the manual update and maintenance of data, data backup and troubleshooting ANSOS system problems. This position serves as a resource to nursing managers and Supervisors to maintain adequate staffing throughout the Department of Nursing as determined by unit algorithm, census, acuity and communication. This individual may perform duties or have knowledge of information that is of a sensitive and confidential nature. Other responsibilities include utilization of excel and ATA for data tracking and reporting for Nursing. This position is also the centralized hub for all Guthrie entities for web schedulers and ANSOS.
Experience:
Experience with staffing and scheduling in an acute care setting preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Essential Functions:
1. Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and statements as requested. Reconciles payroll with actual time worked. Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.

3. In collaboration with Nurse Managers/Supervisors determines actual staff needed for identified shifts based on staffing guidelines, available census, and unit algorithm. Re-allocates staff to alternative units based on need, availability, and reallocation guidelines. Assists the Nursing Manager (or designee) in securing staffing resources for the various nursing units. Informs and/or solicits guidance or assistance with unusual or difficult staffing and scheduling issues from Nursing Leadership. Reviews staffing guidelines on an annual basis with the appropriate Nursing Leadership.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.34/hour
