Staffing Specialist
MAU is hiring a Staffing Specialist in Charleston, SC. As a Staffing Specialist, you will process work orders from customers, recruiters, screens, and orients and hire personnel based on order specifications to work at client sites.

Shift Information Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Career Path Progression from this position Staffing Supervisor Associate Relations Specialist Associate Relations Leader Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED 1 – 3+ years of human resource and recruiting experience General Requirements Strong analytical, math, and reasoning abilities Communication proficiency Customer/client focus Excellent communication skills Ethical conduct Personal effectiveness/credibility Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) Lean Greenbelt Root cause analysis training Essential Functions Hire, supervise, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and recommend changes in employee status Consistently orient/onboard new associates to standards established for each customer Administer company policies and procedures Maintain applicant flow through placement of ads, development of recruiting sources, and analysis of weekly and monthly recruiting source reports Regularly review work orders and interact with customers Develop and update orientations for new and current clients Set up new pay and bill rates with manager's approval Administer assessments as required by the client Receive, process, and analyze work orders from customers Process merit, tenure, or incentive increases Submit Billing Source Documents as appropriate for each customer Communicate and resolve with customer any invoice non-payment Manage cases of injured employees during work hours to include accident investigation and completion of Accident/Injury Report and Worker’s Compensation Packet Attend unemployment and workers’ comp hearings Maintain an excellent level of customer service by visiting client site at the predetermined level Maintain an excellent level of customer service by establishing predetermined levels of candidates in Kanban pools to ensure quick turnaround for job orders Perform other tasks as assigned Supervisory Responsibility
This position can supervise the following positions: MAU Associates Administrative Support Work Environment or Working Conditions Operate in a professional office environment Routinely use standard office equipment Occasional presence at customer sites, both in administrative and manufacturing environments Physical Demands
This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
