Federal Staffing Specialist | 95k - 110k/yr | Fully-Remote Job Description We are seeking full-time or part-time Staffing Specialists to support our Fairfax, VA team. Although the home office is located in Fairfax, VA, this position is fully remote. Responsibilities + Support high-profile and high-volume delegated examining and merit promotion recruitment activities for various agencies. + Review job analyses, assessment questionnaires, job opportunity announcements, rating, and certificates. + Perform job analysis, develop assessment questionnaires, and document evaluation criteria in accordance with agency requirements. + Review and adjudicate veterans' preference. + Review applicant qualifications for the full range of agency occupations and provide written justification for the same. + Work as part of a team, mentor, and train HR Assistants. + Use multiple automated staffing systems. Essential Skills + 4+ years of federal operational staffing experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience. + Experience performing staffing duties with USA Staffing. + Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DEU certification. + Ability to obtain and maintain the government-required security clearance (public trust). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Current DEU certification preferred but not required. + BS/BA degree highly preferred. + Experience in completing job analysis in accordance with hiring managers, posting job announcements on USA Jobs, performing qualifications adjudications, adjudicating veterans' preference, and issuing selection certificates. Work Environment This position is 100% remote, operating on EST hours. Employees will receive 1 week of PTO and holiday pay.
