POSITION SUMMARY:

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Stagehand at ASM Global Stockton Facilities. The House Technician is responsible for the setup and operation of equipment and systems utilized for all technical aspects of our facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates specialized audio, lighting, video and rigging equipmentUses specialized programs and equipment in live productionsSetup and Strike of EventsImplements and ensures that all requirements listed in Technical Riders are met for each eventOther related duties as assigned by the Technical Services ManagerPerform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrate proper knowledge and use of all procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment and tools used in the technical services fieldPossess knowledge and experience in operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services and technical support requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facilityMeet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noisesExperience with setup and operation of equipment such as audio consoles, lighting consoles, video switchers, and personnel liftsMust be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlinesWork effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate resultsMaintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employmentHigh School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in the field

Compensation: $19.50 – $24.00 dependent on experience
