**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. This role involves fabricating a variety of equipment for the food processing and material handling industry, with a focus on both MIG welding on mild and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have experience with welding and fabricating metal assemblies and weldments, utilizing hand tools, machine operation, and welding to create quality products. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel. + Fabricate a variety of equipment for the food processing and material handling industry. + Weld and fabricate metal assemblies and weldments. + Utilize hand tools, machine operation, and welding to fabricate products. + Follow verbal instructions and technical drawings. + Position, align, fit, and weld parts. + Lay out stock and sub-assemblies. + Follow blueprints and drawings. + Set up and operate fabrication machines including rolls, brakes, flame cutters, drill press, grinders, and shear. **Essential Skills** + Experience with MIG welding on mild and stainless steel. + Knowledge of metal fabrication processes. + Ability to follow blueprints and technical drawings. + Proficiency with hand tools and fabrication machines. + Strong attention to detail and precision in welding and fabricating. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with brake forming and other fabrication processing on stainless and mild steel. + Ability to work with various fabrication machines including rolls, brakes, flame cutters, drill press, grinders, and shear. **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned business that offers significant opportunities for growth. The work takes place in a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
