What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Specialist for a major government IT modernization program. This high performing team member will help clients use various technology offerings and/or industry specific solutions to solve our client’s business problems. The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will manage day-to-day relationships, provide product expertise, and translate business requirements and needs to the program team.
This is a high-visibility, demanding project. The project team is highly collaborative, agile, and fast-paced.
The person in this role will perform duties within the following areas:
Support HSIN internal and external stakeholders to use product features and tools for their mission-critical, homeland security information sharing through guidance, training and teaching, site development and maintenance, governance facilitation, and program updates.
Understand the capabilities of all features to make tailored recommendations and solutions to Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal and Private Sector (FSLTTP) stakeholders from all mission areas.
Develop and maintains relationships with stakeholders with the support of Outreach Managers (OMs) and Leadership.
Make presentations, briefings, and just-in-time trainings to internal and external stakeholders. This includes identifying, traveling to, and staffing booths at, relevant conferences and events and onsite support at events.
Capture stakeholder requirements, pain points/challenges, and best practices; makes recommendations to adopt or reject the project; and, looks for opportunities to use the solution to improve other users' experiences.
Attend planned events, such as conferences and events, to expedite registrations and approvals, support the use of the product on-site, and conduct outreach to participants.
Facilitate stakeholder projects from intake, governance, project scope and requirements, user acceptance, training, launch, and maintenance.
Update information on sites, contacts, and interactions
Contribute to internal communications data calls for leadership briefings and reports. Complete questionnaires, after action reports, and success stories templates on mission successes for internal and external communications.
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship and the ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust
Bachelor’s degree
FIVE (5) or more years of experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement , Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, AND/OR Fusion Centers.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Professional Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
What Would Be Nice To Have
TEN (10) or more years of professional experience
Understanding of policy development and governance structures within the context of homeland security.
Experience working on coordinating, and communicating on cross- functional teams.
Experience with presentation and web communication tools.
Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
