\t\t\t\t\t•\tEstablish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion•\tWork closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota•\tSupport/initiate the development and execution of projects to improve Stamping and Body Weld KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost, People, Environment)•\tSupport development and execution of annual plans aligned with company and department objectives•\tIntroduce new stamping and welding line technology as required.•\tUnderstand the technical aspects of stamping and welding operations and continuously improve process control methods•\tSupport and lead problem solving as required for design, manufacturing, supplied parts, and equipment•\tMonitor dimensional accuracy data and proactively lead process/equipment changes to improve body accuracy•\tBe a technical resource for production, maintenance, and tool & die as needed to support manufacturing operations•\tCoordinate and manage supplier/contractor activity to include job scope, expectations, safety, and schedules•\tSupport new model launch (pilot) planning, equipment buyoff and trials•\tFoster two-way communication at all levels to ensure real issues are known•\tConduct all activities with safety as top priority•\tPerforms other related duties as assigned by the department•\tBe available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)

\t\t\t\t\t•\tIndividual will be held accountable for achieving defined individual and continuous improvement objectives for stamping and welding line equipment efficiency and reliability.•\tParticipation in customer, third party and internal audits.•\tTo strictly adhere to company safety and other policies as documented.•\tEngineering management- accountability for equipment installation and meeting scheduled deadlines•\tTo recommend actions and make decisions on all issues relating to stamping and body weld operations, safety and environmental concerns for MTM, with input from the Stamping and Body Weld leadership team and other MTM management team members as appropriate.•\tAll employees have a safety and quality responsibility; therefore, having the authority to stop work processes to correct safety and/or quality problems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $112000.00/yr.
