The Role 

The Stand Lead is responsible for the oversight of their assigned stand(s) to include ensuring guest service expectations are met, proper food safety and sanitation procedures are being followed, responsible alcohol service is being practiced, along with delegation of various tasks as required.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee multiple concession locations during events. Ensure that volunteers are providing excellent guest service Ensure that assigned NPO groups has proper staffing levels, follows menu recipes when preparing food and is operating the stand efficiently and safely. Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines as required by Federal, State and Local laws and in compliance with company standards Monitor the inventory levels throughout the event and make sure the stand does not run out of product. Train NPO volunteers on point-of-sales procedures Conduct pre-shift meeting with assigned NPO volunteers Ensure the proper set-up of assigned stand and condiment area Count and verify beginning and ending inventories Verify all product reporting and sign-off on any discrepancies Solve problems and reach out for additional help when needed. At the end of the event, ensure that all paperwork has been completed and that the stand has been properly cleaned Adhere to Legends Uniform and Grooming guidelines Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.  Able to speak in front of a group and provide clear directions. Elevated time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills. Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred. Previous food service experience required. Must be able to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time. Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours during a single shift while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators. Must be available for all Tampa Bay Buccaneers and USF games Outdoor venue indicative of heat and humidity based on weather conditions. Work environment may be within extreme temperatures. Ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus and complete tasks independently. Make timely decisions in the context of workflow and operation efficiencies. Ability to communicate and lead teams to complete tasks in situations where timing is essential. Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training.
